I’m a florist living in the Harringay Warehouse community in North London.
At the moment, i’m working on a quilt for the campervan I share with my partner using sentimental, recycled fabrics, as well as contributing to the big house quilt project.
Quilt club an opportunity to meet people and build a sense of belonging within my local community. To come together to share stories and learn new skills.
I love the idea of quilting as catharsis, there’s something therapeutic about the repetition of mapping patterns, cutting out shapes and hearing the hum of the sewing machine as you run fabric through it…a certain sense of meditation perhaps.
